Follow the Red Brick Road
This was a short film created for the Sci-Fi 48 hour film competition in April 2012. We shot over the weekend and had very little sleep in between the shoot and edit. It was a cast of two and a crew of three. My role involved writing, directing, the audio edit and special effects.
Context
This was a project created with a group of Weapon7ers who held an interest in film and film-making. We collaborated on character and plot ideas but I wrote the final script. It was a two day shoot over a weekend in September. My role was primarily as director but helped out with sound recording on occasion. I also worked on the post production and editing process.
Lacuna
This was completed as part of the Smoke and Mirrors 48 hour film competition. We had a crew of two and a cast of two. It was a crazy two days of night shoots and a long day of editing but probably the most fun I’ve had all year.
